Autumn in the Cairngorms
Our Facebook page has been updated with some photos I took when I managed to spend a few days at the house last week. The light and the colours in Autumn in the Cairngorms National Park are really quite breathtaking at this time of year. For most of the day the sun stays very low in the sky and as a consequence provides the ideal conditions for photographs with long shadows and soft colours.

Granite Cottage, Nethy Bridge near Aviemore, Cairngorms
Granite Cottage is a unique, luxury self catering holiday home with a 6 person outdoor hot tub set in the Cairngorms National Park. The house is split into two parts (Upper & Lower). The lower part can be rented separately for accommodation up to 8 people or the Upper and Lower can be rented together to accommodate up to 14 people. It offers the perfect location for a family holiday or as a base for group activities such as skiing, golf, hillwalking, mountainbiking and birdwatching.
